19” forged alloy wheels.
Lightweight 19” forged alloy wheels look fantastic while improving handling and traction by a reduction in unsprang weight. These are combined with bespoke high performance Pirelli P-Zero tyres.

See engine oil temperature, torque, and turbo boost at a glance. The shift timing feature supports track driving. The red zone of the variable LED rev-counter changes according to the oil temperature.

Nth Degree Performance
The latest generation of this racetrack-capable hot hatch builds on the success of its predecessor, offering more lightweight materials resulting in more agility and better handling. The suspension and steering systems have been returned, resulting in improved ride and handling performance for both transmissions.

The uprated four-cylinder 2.0 T-GDi engine is highly responsive with a rich torque curve supported by an increase in maximum power and torque figures.
And this engine doesn't just only provide the performance goods either. Simply engage 'N' mode and this four cylinder powerhouse sounds like nothing else on the road.
5 drive modes
At the push of a button, you can select between five distinct drive modes to match your mood: Eco, Normal, Sport, N and N Custom. These modes alter the character of the i30 N by changing the operating parameters of engine throttle response, suspension stiffness, stability control, steering weight, and rev-matching intensity. On the i30 N, the electronic limited slip differential characteristics and exhaust sound can also be controlled.

N Grin Control System
At the push of a button, the N Grin Control System gives you the choice of five distinct drive modes to match your mood. The different modes changes the character of the car. Adjusting the parameters of the engine, suspension, steering, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), exhaust sound, N Corner Carving Differential (e-LSD), transmission.
Rev-matching
Fast and smooth downshifts for those that love to take control of gear changes themselves. Rev-matching synchronizes engine speed to the input shaft speed for the next gear, reducing wear and enhancing durability.
Launch control
Launch control helps to accelerate i30 N in the quickest time from a standstill. By regulating the amount of available torque sent to the front wheels, wheel spin is minimised.
N traction and stability control
Developed in-house, the traction and stability control is like a good co-pilot, helping when necessary but otherwise being quiet, never disturbing your driving fun. If desired, it can be switched off completely.
N Corner carving differential.
Engineered by Hyundai to provide a unique carving feeling through even the most challenging corners, this differential maintains maximum fun and stability when braking, entering and exiting corners.
Active variable exhaust system
Pump up the volume. Select different levels of exhaust sound – relatively restrained in Normal mode, to the crackling “after-burn” growl in N mode with added fuel detonations, like a rally car.
